Portman Dental & Implant Clinic – Scunthorpe
We are seeking an experienced and motivated clinician to join our team as Practice Clinical Lead at Portman Dental & Implant Clinic, Scunthorpe. This is an exciting opportunity for a dentist who is passionate about clinical excellence, leadership, and delivering outstanding patient care.
In this key role, you will provide clinical leadership and support to the dental team, ensuring the highest standards of care, compliance, and professional development across the practice. Alongside your leadership responsibilities, you will continue to use your clinical expertise to lead by example, helping to shape a positive and high-performing clinical culture.
Key Responsibilities
Provide clinical leadership and mentorship to the practice team
Oversee clinical governance, quality assurance, and compliance with GDC standards
Support clinical audits, treatment protocols, and best practice guidelines
Lead staff training, induction, and professional development
Monitor clinical performance and patient outcomes, implementing improvements where needed
Work collaboratively with practice management to ensure high standards of care and operational efficiency
About You
GDC registered dental professional with a valid practising licence
Minimum 5 years’ experience in dental practice
Previous leadership or supervisory experience within a dental team
Strong knowledge of clinical governance and regulatory compliance
Excellent communication, mentoring, and organisational skills
Confident using digital dental systems and practice software
