Due to an internal promotion, we have a new vacancy for a Senior FP&A Manager to join us.  Reporting into the Head of FP&A, you'll deliver the annual budget and quarterly reforecasting process for the Group. This involves coordinating relevant stakeholders to produce a clear and succinct plan to the Portman Executive team and Equity Investors. You'll also have a thorough understanding of the relevant performance drivers and trends, and report these to our senior management team.

We welcome your application if you have the following qualifications and skills:

  • Strong experience within FP&A holding a senior role, comfortable communicating with senior managers and Exec members
  • A qualified accountant - ACA, ACCA, or CIMA
  • Advanced knowledge and experience in reporting, forecasting and budgeting
  • Experience building and improving financial models that are scalable and effective. Experience of digitalising/automating existing reporting also desirable
  • Great communication skills. Ability to use PowerPoint to deliver clear and objective insight to relevant stakeholders
  • Great people leader with big focus on engagement and developing the colleagues within your team

We offer a hybrid working model that allows you to split your week between working from home, and our support office in Cheltenham.  This will likely be 1 or 2 days a week in the office, with full flexibility around the days that work best for you, and the rest working from home. Our office is conveniently located opposite the racecourse entrance, and features a café on-site, free parking, and beautiful parkland surroundings.

In addition to a competitive salary, our benefits package (which will be on a pro-rata basis) includes:

  • Bonus scheme which recognises our combined contribution
  • 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, special days off (such as your birthday), and the opportunity to purchase up to 3 additional annual leave days
  • Enhanced maternity and paternity leave
  • Life assurance and contributory pension scheme
  • Health and Wellbeing benefits, including an expensed dental check-up and hygienist appointment per year, confidential helpline and counselling services, and access to a 24/7 GP service
