Biography

Dr Neal Heaher gained his dental degree from the University of Newcastle Upon Tyne and has worked in both a hospital setting and general dental practice since then in the Northeast. He became a Member of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons of the Royal College of Surgeons in 2008 and gained a Master's Degree in Dental Implantology with distinction in 2017. His master's dissertation researching his patients' experiences of different dental implant treatments was marked very highly and recommended for publication. Neal's commitment to professional development continues with thousands of hours of training, as well as involvement in study clubs, conferences and private courses. Most recently, Neal completed surgical training at the world-renowned Urban Institute for Bone Regeneration in Budapest under the mentorship of Istvan Urban, a pioneer in bone regeneration for dental implantology. He is a member of the International Team for Implantology, the Royal College of Surgeons, the British Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, the Association of Dental Implantology and the Northeast Private Dentists' Association.
