Biography
Aneesha is a highly experienced Consultant Oral Surgeon at King’s College Hospital where she is the Clinical Lead, specializing in managing complex oral surgery cases with a calm, patient-centered approach. She qualified from the University of Bristol in 2006 and has amassed over 19 years of expertise. Her specialist training at Guy’s and King’s College Hospitals culminated in the award of the CCST in Oral Surgery in 2012, securing her place on the GDC’s specialist list. Her clinical expertise spans a wide range of oral surgery procedures—from extraction of high-risk impacted wisdom teeth to apicectomies, biopsies, frenectomies, and surgical orthodontic procedures, often employing minimally invasive techniques. Aneesha has an interest in managing anxious patients and holds a Diploma in Sedation from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. Her gentle demeanour and reassuring presence help patients feel at ease from the moment they walk through the door. She is an avid researcher with numerous publications and presentations at both national and international levels, earning multiple awards for her work. Aneesha is deeply committed to education and leadership. She serves as an examiner for both the Tri-collegiate Specialty Membership and MFDS examinations, sits on the board of the new Intercollegiate Dental Specialty Fellowship Examinations, and is Deputy Chair of the Oral Surgery Managed Clinical Network for North-West London. She teaches undergraduate and postgraduate dentists and is a sought-after lecturer. Outside of her clinical and academic life, Aneesha is a passionate foodie who loves exploring new culinary experiences whenever she gets a moment away from family life!
