Biography

Phillip qualified from the University of Sheffield in 2009 with Honours before completing foundation training and moving to an associate position. He was an Educational Supervisor to FD's for 8 years and has held an Honorary role as a Senior Clinical Lecturer at Sheffield University. He has also held a Senior Clinical Teacher role at UCLan teaching MSc Endo postgraduate students and continues to provide endodontic courses to both FD's and GDP's. Day to day he works across a mixed NHS/Private practice and Flint and Flint Dental Practice in Sheffield. Phil took over a private (DwSI) endodontic referral service in 2017, which he continues to grow, utilising the skills gained in his MSc Endo at UCLan 2018 to tackle more complex cases. Recently he has taken up an Endodontic Advisory role for BUPA as part of their Dental Advisory Committee and continues to work alongside Schottlander as an endodontic educator. In his spare time Phil enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf and keeping fit.
