Biography

Dan is a member of the British Orthodontic Society and the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He loves creating healthy, beautiful smiles to improve patients’ confidence. He cares for both children and adults; offering metal and white fixed braces, as well as a range of clear aligner appliances. After graduating from the University of Birmingham Dental School in 2010, he completed Dental Foundation Training in Exeter and achieved the Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties of the Royal College of Surgeons of England, before moving to Australia in 2013 to work in general dental practice. He returned to the UK in 2015 to gain more specialist experience from Senior House Officer posts in Restorative Dentistry, Oral Surgery, Special Care Dentistry, Oral Medicine, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and tertiary cleft care. He received a prize at the 2017 British Orthodontic Conference and has presented nationally, while publishing research in several peer-reviewed journals. He was an honorary clinical lecturer at the University of Liverpool, where he completed 3 years of orthodontic speciality training and simultaneously completed a Doctorate level research degree. This led to the Membership in Orthodontics awarded by the Royal college of Surgeons of Edinburgh, and admittance to the General Dental Council’s list of ‘Specialist Orthodontists’.
