Biography

Dr Lanre Onabolu Specialist in Periodontics BDS HONS, MCLINDENT PERIO, MPERIORCS(EDIN) GDC No. 207356 Lanre qualified as a dentist in 2004 with honours. After several years working in hospitals and general practice, he underwent specialist training in Periodontics and Implant Dentistry at the world-renowned Eastman Dental Institute, University College London. At the end of his specialist training, he was awarded a Masters of Clinical Dentistry and the Specialty membership from the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh. He is accredited by the European Federation of Periodontology and by the General Dental Council as a Specialist. Lanre has interests in all aspects of periodontal treatment, including non-surgical and surgical treatment of periodontal and peri-implant diseases including conventional and regenerative periodontal surgery, periodontal plastic surgery, alveolar bone augmentation procedures and dental implants. He is a consultant at the Eastman Dental Hospital, London. He is also an examiner (general dental council) for the overseas registration examination, a member of the British Society of Periodontology (BSP) and the European Federation of Periodontology (EFP).
