Biography
Katy is a GDC registered Specialist Orthodontist who prides herself on the quality of her work and is motivated by creating beautiful smiles for her patients. Katy is experienced in treating both children and adults with a range of Orthodontic appliances including discreet and aesthetic options such as Invisalign and clear fixed braces. Katy has undergone extensive training in Dentistry and Orthodontics in order to qualify as an Orthodontic Specialist. In these roles she worked with highly skilled teams in managing a multitude of complex issues of the head, neck and jaws, as well as gaining expertise in treating younger patients and those with dental anxieties. Katy went on to complete the three-year Orthodontic postgraduate training at King's College London where she achieved a Distinction for her Master of Science in Orthodontics and was awarded the prestigious Philip Walter prize for her Orthodontic research. Katy has worked within Specialist Orthodontic practices in London before moving to Winchester with her family. She has a caring and compassionate manner which helps put patients at ease from the outset, and looks forward to discussing with you how she can assist in enhancing your smile.
