Biography

George studied Dentistry at the University of Manchester and qualified in 2015. After qualifying George completed a two-year dental foundation training programme, working in an NHS Dental Practice and Newcastle Dental Hospital, gaining experience in paediatric dentistry, restorative dentistry, and oral surgery. In this time, George completed the Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery (MFDS) examinations and was awarded the TC White Medal for gaining the highest marks nationally. George then completed further training in oral and maxillofacial surgery and paediatric dentistry, before embarking on a three year orthodontic speciality training programme at James Cook University Hospital in 2019. George successfully completed a Masters in Orthodontics and passed the Speciality Membership in Orthodontics at the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh in 2022. George has also undertaken a further two years of Consultant Orthodontic training at Newcastle Dental Hospital and Cumberland Infirmary in the management of complex multidisciplinary orthodontic patients. He successfully passed his fellowship examination in Orthodontics in 2024, and is due to start as an NHS Consultant Orthodontist in the North East.
