Biography

Dr Levi is based here at The Waterside Dental Clinic and he is delighted to be able to offer a full and speedy service for Endodontics (soothing root-filling treatments to save teeth, as a preferred alternative to extraction) and also gentle Oral Surgery; he also accepts referrals for root-filling treatments and oral surgery, from other dentists across the whole of Lancashire. Since becoming an active member of the British Endodontic Society in 1985, Dr Levi has developed a special interest in endodontics and he now provides an endodontic service to the highest clinical level. Dr Levi has attended just about every endodontic course available, starting with postgraduate courses at the esteemed Eastman Dental School in London, and he has considerable experience in the field of root-fillings. In 1998 he was among the first clinicians in northern England to use a dedicated operating microscope for endodontics. In addition to this, Dr Levi worked as an oral surgeon at Harrogate District Hospital for many years, where he gained wide experience in this field. With this in mind, he is also happy to accept referrals for oral surgery of all types including difficult extractions, retained/ broken roots and wisdom teeth. He has also placed many hundreds of dental implants. Dr Levi comments that: "It is a real pleasure and privilege to be part of such an exciting and dynamic team at The Waterside Dental Clinic.
