Biography

Jennifer qualified in Dentistry from Glasgow University in 1987 and while working in the west of Scotland, obtained her post graduate Fellowship in Dental Surgery in 1991. She then came to the north east of England and started working in the department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Darlington Memorial Hospital where she continues to work as an Associate Specialist. She gained recognition from the General Dental Council as a Specialist in Oral Surgery in 2007. Jennifer also joined the team at Queensway in 2007 and by combining her hospital position with that at Queensway, it has allowed her to gain extensive experience in treating patients in a primary care setting as well as those requiring more complex hospital care. Jennifer teaches post graduate Oral Surgery to dentists in addition to teaching dentists about how to detect and prevent mouth cancer.
