Biography

Jason Henry is a registered Specialist in Oral Surgery. Jason is a member of the British Association of Oral Surgeons, Association of Dental Implantology, the Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry, the British Dental Association and the Irish Academy for Aesthetic Dentistry. Jason combines his extensive surgical experience and creative restorative skills to help referring dentists and colleagues at Rosconnor Clinic manage the more difficult day to day cases referred to the Practice. He helps provide treatment solutions for cases requiring advanced bone augmentation, sinus grafting and guided tissue regeneration. Over the last 15 years Jason has been involved in post-graduate teaching of dentists and nurses on registered courses for Dental Sedation, Oral surgery and Dental Implantology. He is an examiner with the NEBDN for the Diploma in Dental Sedation Nursing Sedation. He is also an accredited trainer for Specialist Registrars in Oral Surgery and is involved in training programmes for SpR’s in Oral Surgery based at the School of Dentistry, Royal Victoria Hospital in Belfast. He is a past tutor and mentor for the Diploma and Certificate courses in Minor Oral Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons, England. Outside of dentistry he is a competitive amateur racing cyclist and is the current Irish track cycling champion and past Irish cyclocross and track champion in his age category.
