Biography

Shakeel graduated from University of Dundee in 1995. He has a special interest in Endodontics. Soon after graduating from Dundee University, Shakeel was appointed as a part time Clinical assistant at the Restorative Department of Glenfield Hospital, Leicester in 1997. He still works there now but as a Specialty Doctor in Endodontics. He performs complex non-surgical Endodontics that has been referred in from General Dental Practitioners around the central Midlands area using an operating microscope. Shakeel has also worked for several years (from 2004 to 2008) at the Charles Clifford Dental Hospital, University of Sheffield, as a Part time Specialty Doctor in Endodontics. Shakeel has a post graduate certificate in Restorative Dentistry (Tipton Course) from MANDEC, University of Manchester and a Certificate in Endodontics Master Class from LonDEC, Kings College London. He also has attained a post graduate diploma in Restorative Dental Practice from the prestigious and world-renowned University College London (UCL). Shakeel enjoys performing general restorative dentistry but has a passion for Endodontics. He is meticulous and strives for perfection. He has a gentle and caring approach in treating his patients.
