Professor Shanon Patel BDS, MSc, MClinDent, MRD, PhD, FDS, FHEA Professor of Endodontology | KCL Specialist/Consultant Endodontist Shanon divides his time between working in a specialist practice (4 days/week) and teaching/carrying clinical research at KCL (1 day/week). Shanon is recognised internationally for his research on endodontic outcomes, root resorption and CBCT imaging. He is lead author of several European Society of Endodontology position statements. He has published over 120 papers and co-edited 7 endodontic and radiology textbooks which have been translated into five different languages. His clinical excellence has resulted in him being invited as a keynote speaker at over 150 international meetings spanning 5 continents.
