Biography

Dr Matt Clare is a multi award-winning Specialist Orthodontist who's fixed and aligner cases have both been recognised in the UK and internationally. Some of his Invisalign cases feature in the Invisalign Global Gallery as examples of aligner outcomes. Matt started Lincoln Orthodontics 20 years ago and it has since become the largest private orthodontic referral centre in the East Midlands. Lincoln Orthodontics takes patients of all ages, from early interception at age 7 to late correction for patients in their 70s. Treatments offered range from simple correction of orthodontic relapse, to complex multi-disciplinary cases. Augmentation treatment includes Temporary Anchorage Devices to avoid the need for surgery and soft-tissue laser work to release fraenums and resculpt the gingival display. One of Matt's particular interests is in providing growth modification via functional appliances, but delivered on an aesthetic aligner system. This greatly increases patient acceptance and therefore improves outcomes.
