Biography

Abid graduated from Glasgow Dental School before completing his Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery in Edinburgh. He subsequently gained a master’s degree in Primary Dental Care and went on to gain a Diploma in Implant Dentistry from the Royal College of Edinburgh. He has practiced predominantly implant and restorative dentistry for 22 years and placed in excess of 5,000 implants. Abid limits his practice to the treatment and the management of complex cases; including digital planning, smile design, guided surgery, immediate loading and soft tissue grafting. Abid is past president of Association of Dental Implantology, fellow of International Team of Implantology and is an international lecturer.
