Biography

Dr Hameed qualified from Guy's Hospital in London in 2000 and completed her vocational training in Bedfordshire. She then worked in general practice and community dentistry. She completed Senior House Officer posts in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS), Restorative and Paediatric Dentistry at Guy's, King's and St Thomas's Hospitals and passed the MFDS examination for the Royal College of Surgeons of England. She has taught Radiology and Emergency Dental care at Kings College London, and has been an Examiner for the Royal College of Surgeons of England (Faculty of Dental Surgery) for 9 years. In 2007, Dr Hameed undertook a 1 year OMFS Surgical Implant Fellowship at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), training in dental implants, sinus and bone augmentation. Thereafter she provided outpatient Oral Surgery as a Specialty Dr in OMFS at the Royal Berkshire and West Berkshire Hospitals NHS Trust. In 2014, Dr Hameed returned to Los Angeles to pursuit a 3-year full time Advanced Periodontology and Implant Dentistry training program and Masters of Science in Craniofacial Biology. In 2017, she was awarded a certificate of specialist training in Advanced Periodontology as well as a Master of Science (MS) from the University of Southern California (USC), Los Angeles. Dr Hameed is highly experienced in all aspects of surgical dentistry, and her practice is focused to Periodontology, Oral surgery and Implant Dentistry.
