Biography

Eleni graduated from the Dental School of Athens in 1998 and in 2000 Eleni completed, with merit, her MSc in Paediatric Dentistry at Leeds Dental Institute. In the same year she became a Fellow of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons in Canada (Paediatric Dentistry). Since her registration as a Specialist in Paediatric Dentistry she solely devotes her time treating paediatric patients. Eleni works as a specialist dentist in paediatrics for the Community Dental Service, where she exclusively provides dental care to children requiring advanced and complicated treatment including those with complicated medical histories and those requiring treatment under sedation. She has also been a Specialist Clinical Lecturer at Kings and Guys Dental institute where she taught paediatric dentistry to 4th and 5th year dental students. She is an active member of the British Society for Paediatric Dentistry and the international Association of paediatric Dentistry. Eleni is passionate about her work as a paediatric dentist; acknowledging and knowing that traumatic dental experiences during the early years of life can influence and establish negative behaviour towards dentistry in general. Eleni implements during her practice all those behaviour management techniques and methods to ensure her patients have treatment in a nice, relaxed and positive manner.
