Biography

Rachel studied dentistry at the University of Glasgow and graduated in 2001. Following 2 years of General Professional Training, she has worked exclusively in the field of oral surgery. Training in Glasgow Dental Hospital, Southern General Hospital, Glasgow and Crosshouse Hospital, Kilmarnock. In 2004 she passed the diploma of membership of the faculty of dental surgery at the Royal College of surgeons, Edinburgh. She has been in oral surgery practice since 2007 and relocated back to Ireland and Rosconnor in 2013. She appreciates that almost everyone is anxious about undergoing oral surgery to some degree, so in 2015 she completed the diploma in conscious sedation at the University of Newcastle. Rachel can offer IV sedation to suitable patients to help them with their anxiety during treatment.
