Biography

Dr Meera Patel qualified in 2005 from Guy's, King's and St. Thomas' Hospital. She has worked both in general practice and hospital-based positions undertaking a wide range of Oral Surgery. She is currently a member of the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery department as a Specialty Doctor at the Royal Surrey County Hospital since 2008 where she undertakes complex Oral Surgery cases under local and general anaesthetic as well as soft tissue, skin and trauma surgery. She gained her Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties at the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2007 and is currently undertaking a Masters degree in Oral Surgery. Outside of dentistry, Meera enjoys swimming and chasing after her two young daughters!
