Completing your foundation training is a meaningful milestone. Taking your first step into associate life should feel positive, well supported and full of opportunity.
Our pathway to PortmanDentex programme is designed to help you move forward with confidence, in an environment where you feel guided and encouraged from day one. In this FD+1 role, you’ll experience the autonomy of an associate position while benefiting from consistent support and experienced clinical leadership.
In this role, you will:
Work closely with an experienced mentor who provides clinical guidance, supports case discussions and is available for day to day advice
Build confidence through a thoughtfully managed patient list, helping you develop your clinical skills, efficiency and decision making at a comfortable pace
Have regular check ins and personalised development planning aligned to your individual goals
Gain valuable experience across both NHS and private dentistry, developing a well-rounded understanding of patient care and practice workflows
Become part of a collaborative and welcoming practice team that is genuinely invested in your development and wellbeing
